Amenities: Efficient Working washer and dryer, kitchenette with enough kitchen tools to make home cooked meals since there are very few local option to eat out around the location. Clean and Well Appointed: No complaints, had everything I would expect in towels and toiletries for a 4 Star Accommodation and nothing unnecessary. Stunning Location: Having a balcony and waking up to one of the most stunning views on the Sydney coast. Secure parking and access: Felt Safe at all times. And covered parking is a plus. Pet Friendly: My two pups are well trained and clean and the accommodation didn’t feel like untrained pets had been there previously. This should be commended as the rooms were pet friendly but up to cleanliness standards. Even all the toilets and grassy parks in front of the property were well maintained and clean. Lots of clean areas to walk my dogs as well. Bonus: Offered a $10 Voucher for accommodation offered Snacks and Bar items. Friendly staff and people: Everyone was helpful and hospitable. Also, I stayed on a weekday and enjoyed plenty of privacy.

We booked the standard twin/double room (the cheapest at our time of booking) and it was huge! Two double beds, a little dining table, and just plenty of space, not cramped at all. There was a washing machine and dryer in the bathroom and detergent sachets. Our stay here was the last night of our trip so we didn't use the laundry facilities but that's just so handy to have so had to mention! The shampoo and conditioner also looked really nice, not the usual 2-in-1 hotels often do that leaves your hair feeling pretty gross. I didn't need to wash my hair so didn't use it but it looked nice and just the fact that it wasn't 2-in-1 is a bonus at a hotel. When we were booking this was also one of the best priced hotels so we were surprised it was so nice. Also, great park across the road if you have kids.

The area is great, and I can see this place being a hit with families, mostly which were there when we went too. The park opposite has play equipment and a equipped facilities for beach goers. (showers, toilets, change areas, etc.) Decent amount of parking and easy walk to beach and round the corner to local shops (IGA style) makes a great benefit. A club is not far away, within walking distance, although we drove as we were unsure how far and the weather was 'concerning' to us. It was still a good place to visit and we enjoyed the atmosphere there. Staff were polite and really helpful, appreciated their presence when I interacted with them. Was overall a good experience.

The room was spacious to my great delight. Warm !! They had the heater in for me! The bed was super comfy with good pillows. The bathroom was good with products supplied. The kitchen with coffee making facilities was not used but next time! I didn’t use the late check out but what a great offer! Thank you Abode! Hope I didn’t forget anything.

Abode Malua is perfectly positioned about 10 minutes from Batemans Bay. Malua Bay is a great spot for families with little kids. Abode offers a simple yet beautiful experience. Both housekeeping and reception staff are kind and helpful. The rooms are great size and the bathroom with washer + dryer was fabulous. The kitchen is well appointed to cook easy recipes. We highly recommend Sawaan (Thai Restaurant near Batemans Bay) and Innes Boatshed (Fish & Chips) for main meals. We have stayed here before and will be back again.
